Not wanting to post to your own blog

It’s been a long time since the last update.
I have to be honest here and tell you what I think happened:
The basic fact is that I did not expect this site to be so popular. More and more people are coming everyday to view my challenge updates… and as the popularity grew the more I felt I had to provide you with better and better content.

I started thinking 3 times before every word typed… and this had led to some sort of blog paralysis.

One more thing happened during the first 6 weeks of this challenge.

Reading people’s comments about this blog - I saw that most people are interested in learning how to earn money from their blogs and contents sites…
While this was part of my original plan. This was only a very small part since I treat blogs and content sites a long term projects.

However, noticing what people were looking for I tried to shift the focus from my original ppc plan to earning money from content sites. I spent time researching the subject but there is no way I can make it on time with the 6 weeks I have left for this challenge.

So not being focused (again) and not following through with my original plan had led me to lose at least 2-3 weeks from my original plan. The good news is I think I’m back on track now.

So what does this all mean? What have I learned?

1. I’m going to post at least 1 update every 2 days - even if I have no “insightful” information to share… This blog is a fun (amazing) project for me - and I have no intention of letting it dry….
Some posts might not be as educational as others but I hope it will be fun.

2. The only way I can reach my challenge’s goal is by returning to my PPC route and this is what I’ll blog about. I’ll leave the content revenue to the other challenge participants.

So tonight - no matter what… I’m putting my PPC campaign up… Reports about it’s success will follow shortly.

I’m still waiting for Paul from http://pauls-challenge.blogspot.com/ to help me set up the challenger’s chat room. This should be fun.

OH! one more thing before I go… The last Google PR update has given this site s PR of 4 which was achieved in under 2 months!!! This is a small reason to celebrate :-)

Next post will be about my PPC plan and about how I’m going to track it.
