Challenge Update - day 17
This week was a little tough. I was kept very busy at my regular “day job”. Twice this week I came home from work at around midnight.
Coming home so late had a few impacts on my challenge, the bad news is I did not get as much work done as I had hoped, the good news is that this week in particular, reminded me why I’m here, what am I doing this for, what kind of life I don’t want to live.
I guess the best news for me this week was that despite the fact that I had very little time on my hands, I still managed to get things done… so here are a few updates:
I did add content to my Adsense site (almost) every day - and that’s good.
Traffic from the SE’s to my new site had dropped significantly this week (from 30 to 3). I don’t know why this had happened. - that’s bad.
The biggest achievement for this week was that:
I completed the integration of Duncan Carver’s - Free Link Management Assistant into my site’s template today. So my site now has it’s own semi-automated link’s directory.
This has resulted in 3 new links to my site within 24 hours of finishing the installation.
So I guess my work for setting up the infrastructure for my content sites is done. From now on creating a new site will be much much easier…
My formula as it is now: Wordpress+an LMA links directory+signing up for Ken Evoy’s Value Exchange
This leads to me being able to easily add content and exchange links everyday.
Hopefully value-exchange visitors will come to my site and just add their site to my LMA directory instead of sending me the regular email.
On the topic of value-exchange, when submitting your site to the program, I recommend using keywords that are not tiny niche specific, but General and cover a Broad Niche even if your site is on a very specific topic like heartburn, it won’t heart getting people to find you on value-exchange using topics like Health, Medication etc.
This way you can get much more link exchange offers from sites that are still related to your topic.
As usual with every challenge update so far… I have to report that I had no time to work on my PPC sites. But now that I’ve finished all the prep work for my Content sites, and I can spend no more than 30 minutes a day on them, I know that I’ll have the time to work on these sites, as there is much work to be done. I remind you my PPC mini sites are the ones that are supposed to bring me most of my income.
I had the honor of adding more people to the challenge this week and I wish them all luck on our journey. I enjoy reading about the buzz this challenge has created on various sites. I’ve never had my name spelled in so many different variations!
My name is NADAV by the way.
I have to say that this week I’ve also encountered negative opinions about this site, at first I was personally offended but 60 minutes later I got over it. If I had helped 1 person (including me) moving from inaction to progress… I had achieved my initial goal and that is all I have to say in that matter.
So my main plan for this week:
Choose and affiliate program to promote via PPC - done.
Buy a domain - done.
Setup an AutoResponder for the site…
Setup the opt in page…
Write the free Report I want to offer for my AutoResponder subscribers…
Put up an Adwords campaign for this site….
Test conversions using Audio+Video.
That’s a lot of work for a week…
I’ll try to update this blog with my progress more often than once a week.
Thanks for listening.

Negative opinions? I think this is a great challenge and I hope everyone participating achieves their goals!
Makes me wonder if those who spend their time criticizing are the ones who aren’t busy achieving their own goals
