You’re welcome Nadav, I’m glad you found the advice useful ;) and I’ll definitely be adding the blogroll to my site this weekend.

A little more instruction on adding a blogroll is in order I think… like, where do you put the javascript code, and the other code snippets you have there.

To add the blogroll to your site, choose just 1 of the code lines above.

I don’t know how to use the other options, but using the javascript was easy…

Just add the complete JAVASCRIPT code as it is to your site’s template - where you want the blogroll to appear.

In Wordpress 1.5 - I added code to the SideBar part of my theme and added the blogroll there. I also paid attention to have it appear on all pages of my site and not just the home page.

If anyone needs further assistance… Leave a comment here.

You can also create a seperate page or insert the code into an entry. I just finished creating a specific $100 per day page which features the javascript blogroll :)

    Hi, Nadev,

I’ve been so busy I haven’t had a chance to even check out my favorite blogs. I’m glad I was able to come by today. I did what Teli did - added a new page and linked to it from my sidebar (I have just too many categories going on over here and when I put it onto my sidebar, I think I was in the running for the longest sidebar in the Guinness Book of World Records).

The strange thing is that I also have a “Add this Blogroll to your site” link right in the middle of the list of participants. Anyone else seeing this? I used the javascript version.

I added the “Add this Blogroll to your site” as one of the links on purpose.
Since I’ve chosen to randomly rotate the link order it sometimes appears in the middle :-)
